    After reading chapter 4 of Les Miseribles I was interested from start to finish. For me this is my favorite chapter so far. M. Myriel feels like he has committed a bigger crime than the subject at matter. This is shown by the author writing that he was in shock at how he could do something that horrible. I honestly felt that was unfair since the situation didn't get out of hand and affected large parts of the world. He could have maybe served life in prison but I don't agree with the bishop.

                                                                                                    September 23  One thing I wish teachers would do different is to go over the homework they assign for the first couple of minutes. This could help since some students just turn in the homework to get a good grade and most time wont ask questions which leads to the not learning.                                                                                                    September 24      I would ask the president, "Why are you in the front of my house"? This because there is no reason he should be in my house. I would also ask him what lead him to run for president.                                                                                                    September 25     Some experiences that would need time is having a baby. This is mainly for people who are in school or just got out of high school since you wont have a lot of money to provide a home for you baby

1) Some examples of symbols I have encountered in my life are music, art, and accomplishments. 2) A possible meaning of the green light at the end of Daisy's dock in The Great Gatsby was maybe it was put to distract people and make them feel that has some important meaning. Another meaning could be the green light symbolizes their journey.  3) One way people like us are similar to animals is that we both eat, breath, and we we both give birth. 4) One major difference between humans and animals is that humans walk on two feet while most animals walk on four or more feet or they swim underwater. 5) Telling stories and inventing symbols empowers people to organize in large numbers since it brings up topic discussions and maybe they enjoy talking about that stuff.

    Arguing is a good thing since it can help people who disagree come to a good answer to their question or their problem. There are many ways to argue. One of them is by staying calm about the situation and going back and forth or you can just not get any closer to the answer by yelling and screaming at each other.     We can also improve our country by arguing in many ways. One of those ways being by trying to find solutions to problems like the pandemic at the moment. They can go back and forth on how to find a vaccine or keep the cases at a low point.     Also some arguments could be put in the history books for the next generation to pick up and read in their class or for themselves. another thing arguing can do for us, is that it can make people bond with one another or form strong relationships with whom they were arguing with.     Lastly arguing helps come to a strong conclusion about the topic or the problem.

    1) The hardest part of starting school during the pandemic is not being able to talk to my teachers in person like in a classroom.     2) I have enjoyed being able to just wake up and just get on zoom instead of walking to school.     3) I want to improve my essay writing.     4) One habit I can start is to concentrate on my work more since i get distracted easily.     5) I am unsure what grade to expect this semester since I have lots of work for every class and it is stressful.
